This fantastic card  crosses two continents and two empires during one of the 20th century's most brutal conflicts. This POW card was posted in 1915 from a German speaking Austro-Hungarian prisonner in Tashkent, Russian Empire (now Uzbekistan) to his beloved in Dombovar, Austro-Hungarian Empire (now Hungary). This wonderful piece of First World War history bears an outgoing cds, a violet railway cancel, as well as a red triangular censorship mark. All in all, a fascinating piece, and a rare postal route.
